On 5, 6 and 7 september in Sabaudia were played the 8th European Dragon Boat Championship Racing.
This year the European Championship was an important social event due the Race for the Charity. The italian and english Breast Cancers Survivors partecipated at this race.
Two were the teams from Italy: Florence Dragon Lady Italy Team and Karalis Pink Butterfly Italy Team (this team was composed by women from Sardinia, Karalis Pink Team, and by Pink Butterfly from Rome).
The english team went from Liverpool, the very strong Pool of Life.
